Does Zangy call me for every Google Calendar event?
No. Events appear in your pending imports list, and you choose which ones get phone reminders. This prevents call spam for low-priority events — only the meetings, appointments, and deadlines you mark get scheduled as calls.
What permissions does Zangy need from Google?
Zangy requests read-only access to your primary Google Calendar. It does not modify, create, or delete events in your calendar. You can revoke access anytime from your Google account settings.
How far in advance can I set the call?
Pick any lead time — 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or longer — before the event start time. Zangy schedules the phone call for that exact moment.
Does it sync recurring events?
Yes. Recurring Google Calendar events are imported with their pattern. Once you approve, each occurrence gets its own scheduled phone call. If you delete an event in Google Calendar, the corresponding Zangy reminder is dismissed on next sync.
